Biography
I work with adults and young people experiencing anxiety, trauma, and the challenges of neurodivergence. If you feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or worn down from coping alone, therapy can offer a supportive place to slow things down and feel understood. Reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, especially if youโve been carrying things on your own for a long time. If youโre feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that are hard to make sense of, you donโt have to face it alone. My approach is integrative and relational, meaning I draw from different therapeutic models and tailor our work to suit you. I work in a trauma-informed way with clients experiencing anxiety, low mood and depression, stress, grief and loss, the impact of abuse, and difficulties in relationships. At the heart of our work is a collaborative relationship built on trust, openness, and respect. I believe feeling safe and understood is essential for change. My experience includes trauma-informed work with adults and young people affected by anxiety, childhood trauma, and the impact of domestic and sexual violence. Alongside this, I have a particular focus on working with neurodivergent clients, supporting issues such as emotional regulation, burnout, masking, and feeling misunderstood. I have previously worked with Mind, supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and loneliness, and as a school counsellor supporting young people through the challenges of adolescence.
